How does it not support the joystick or the c-stick? What happens when you try to use them?

the config does not detect any axis movements except when u move the main stick up...... it wont detect anything else.

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)

What is the newest revision you have tried?
Even when choosing the SDL interface for your device it doesn't work?

If the gamepad worked in nJoy or old GCPad, it should work with SDL(what nJoy and old GCPad used) in the new pad config.
I can't see how it wouldn't work.
What happens when you try to use SDL vs DInput?
I would be Very surprised if it had the "only main stick up is detected" problem.(unless your build was compiled with SDL 1.3)
Are there other apps/emulators that use DirectInput that work with your gamepad?

i use the magicjoy box 3 in 1 and what you have to do is when setting up the controller you right click and choose the right axis which is like z+ z- zr+ and zr-
the magicjoy box is really cool even the rumble works.

If manually configuring the axes works, but regular axis detection doesn't work, this might be the issue:
The input detection waits until axes go past ~85% of their full range.
Gamecube controllers might be weird and not actually go past 85%.
In the windows control panel gamepad status thing, do the axes not reach the edges of the box?
If so, I'll tweak the "85%".

for me when i hold the main & c stick up down left or right it hits the sides and top and bottom of the box in the windows control panel game pad but it just doesn't hit the corners just like it is a circle when setting it up with dolphin

and yes i do use the gamecube controller it works perfectly with the ps2 controller without manually changing it
