gamecube saving problems

hello,

im pretty new to dolphin since i downloaded it late November. and i need some help because i cant get it to work with YouTube. i want to save my gamecube games. i have set the save of the gamecube to gci-folder. and every save is located there. but the next day after shutting down dolphin i cant acces my saves wich is strange because the wii saves work perfectly fine. also, i need to re-setup dolphin every time i restart it wich can be annoying when i dont have much time. i see the saves in the gci folder but when i right click on the game and go to *gamecube save folder* (if not right i translated from german to english) and it says *no saved data found.* like i said, wii works perfectly fine. but dolphin doesent remember the saves. there is also a card data thing but if i want to use it, and select it with the gamecube slot a card (im selecting sram (only thing i can sellect)) and it says that it is corrupted or doesent work.

i tryed everything i could figure out.
i hope you guys can help me : D

What antivirus do you have? I know some can make Dolphin unable to read its folder in the Documents folder, I don't remember which antivirus or how to "properly" fix it though. You can make an empty file called portable.txt in your Dolphin folder and it'll save to its own folder instead, which should work fine.

ok i accually fixed the problem. the problem was i was opening dolphin from the rar thing instead of from the location where it accually is saved. so now everything works fine and i have all saves. i changed some things is avira too so it ignores dolphin and dolphin related completely. maybe one of those 2 fixed it : P
