GameCube Save Game import issues

Sooo this probably got answered somewhere else but I just joined the forum today. Since Android 11 and newer uses the scoped directory you can't change the path to where your save files are located. Plugging my phone in to a PC yes you can access files/GC/USA but you cannot copy your old saves in to the directory, I tried using a Chromebook with the same results. Is there any any any way the developer can incorporate a "import save files" option that you can then select a directory where you have .gci saves and then import them? System File Manager doesn't work to copy the files.

If not which version of Dolphin (for Android) should I roll back to where I can access my hours of saves?

There is an option to export and import Dolphin's whole User directory if you go to Config > User Data.

I thought that was just to import user data only after you've exported it from a prior version.

Figured it out, exported the user directory in to a zip file, unzip, copy my saves in to the zip file memory card directory, rezip then import user data back in to Dolphin. A bit roundabout way to get your saves back.
