Gamecube Memory Error

Well I guess the first thing to ask is,

Are you running Dolphin from a CD/DVD, or is the save file maybe write protected?

I had this issue with save files being protected when I had my files on a read-only partition of my HDD before.

I'm not running from a CD/DVD, and how can I see if it is write protected?

The easiest way to deal with this is just copy the dolphin folder onto your Desktop. If it still doesn't work, download Dolphin 3.0 again and try with that.
