Gamecube memory card not recognised in MC Manager

I'm trying to access the Gamecube memory card in Memory Card Manager as I want to delete a couple of saves, but when I click browse, nothing shows up in the EUR/Card A folder. When I change the file type to all files, a file shows up but when I try to open it, it says "Failed opening memory card: Filesize does not match any known GameCube Memory Card Size". Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had the same problem?

Are you using GCI folders? Those can be managed using any standard file manager. Memcard manager is for entire .raw memory cards.

What do you mean? The memory card file is .gci if that's what you mean. Sorry I'm new to this. How do I edit them in a file manager?

You can open the folder in Explorer and simply delete the files you don't want. Each GameCube save is represented by one GCI file.

So each save is for each game? I was thinking there would be separate saves for settings, career mode etc.

I believe there are some games that use multiple files in the way you describe, like the Need for Speed games. But most games only have one file per game.
