GameCube games with WiiMote + Numchuk

Hi:

there is any way I can play GameCube games like Super Mario Galaxy
with the WiiMote + a Numchuk???
or I need a gamepad for that???

I have a Logitech Rumble 2 and a Saytek P880
that I could use but I prefer to play wireless.

any help???
