Gamecube games accept input from the first player's controller without issue, but don't accept any input from additional players. (Tested with Mario Kart Double Dash and SSBM.)
I'm using the latest stable version of Dolphin with Xbox 360 controllers. I can configure multiple controllers in Dolphin's GC controller config options. It reads the second player inputs no problem when setting key bindings. However once emulation begins, only the first player's inputs are recognized. The second player's controller can't move between characters, pass "Press Start" screens, etc. I don't have this problem with the Wii emulator though. What may be causing the games to ignore a properly configured controller?

AMD Radeon HD 7800
