I just installed Dolphin, and I want to try using a gamecube game my friend loaned me. The problem is that my disk drive refuses to acknowledge that there is a disk in the drive and says it's empty. So how do I play the ISO file? Is there something i can do to make my computer read the disk?

It's pretty easy, just get a program called rawdump 2.1, then put disk in drive & click on start dump & afterwards convert it to iso. I ripped many games with this method and they always work with dolphin.
The downside is that many drives can't read GC disks. You can only find out by trial and error. I had to find a compatible Pioneer brand drive, it cost only $20 bucks though. 04-24-2010, 01:16 PM

yea no other way than using your gc/wii or finding a disc drive that is compatible with the gc/wii discs
