Hey Guys,

since this is my first text in these forums I just want to thank you for this great emulator. It is a great piece of software and I really like it a lot.

Nevertheless I have a little problem hooking up my Gamecube controller via the Mayflash GC to Wii adapter (which in fact makes the GC controller behave like a classic controller). Under Macintosh I found a nice tool to get this working, but under Windows (with glovepie and ppjoy) I did not really make it. Therefore I wanted to ask if there are any plans of including a wii classic controller support for gamecube games in the emulator.
By the way I found that you use OpenGL under Mac and Linux, but DirectX under Windows and was wondering why. Wouldn't it be easier to just code with one?

Thank you for your help

I think you are confused here, first off DirectX vs OpenGL are video backed things not related to controllers. Also windows uses both/either. Both are there for you to choose from as some games and setups prefer one for the other. As for controllers there are SDL and Dinput and both show up for windows as well.
