GameCube controller not working anymore? Worked earlier.

Hello. I'm new to this Dolphin stuff so please bear with me.

I just started using Dolphin today. I'm currently using Dolphin 4.02 x64. I have the official WiiU adapter and have been playing with my GameCube controller. It works great.

Before I went to sleep, I tried to play a little more and my GC controller wasnt working anymore. I started switching the USB's around in different ports, as that solved my problem the first time. Nothing. It doesn't read my GC controller, only my keyboard.

I used something called Zadig to install the driver to get my GC controller to be recognized. That isn't working anymore either.
I tried starting over from scratch, uninstalling everything and deleting everything and starting from step 1. My GC controller just wont work anymore.

Does anyone have a fix to this? Or another solution?

You have to use the latest version, 4.0.x doesn't support the adapter.

I just installed 4.0-7064. Now Zadig wont even install a driver for my GC controller. So I'm still having the same issue, my GC controller wont work.
How do you get yours to work?

You shouldn't need to install it again if you already did.

I don't think you understand my problem here.

I have been using the GC controller with about three or four different versions just to test things. I even said so myself in my original post, "it all works great", and you come in saying it doesnt work. I ignored that. I even tried downloading the latest dev. version just to see if it would work again. It didnt work. Using the latest version still doesnt work.

This is my issue. My GC controller just stopped working. It was working great yesterday, then it just stops working later on. You said I didnt need to install it again, but whether I installed it again or not, my issue is that the GC controller isnt working anymore.

I tried deleting everything and restarting the setup from step 1, my GC controller still wont work or be recognized. It worked all day yesterday, but not today.

You didnt even answer when I asked how you set yours up.

Can you tell me how you set yours up? Im open to trying new things if Zidag isnt working.

What makes you think I have one? (I do) All I did was follow the guide and it works fine.

Of course you have one, that much is obvious if you replied to a help thread about controllers replying as if you knew what to do.

This is no help if you're only going to tell me to follow a guide, or download an updated emulator version. The guide works, yes. Now the issue is, what is the guide on how to fix a controller that doesnt work anymore a day later, even after trying to follow the guide from step 1 all over again.

Try this out:

Go to the Windows "Device Manager", and look for the "WUP-028" device which is usually under the "Universal Serial Bus devices". Select the "Driver" tab. Click "Uninstall". Select "Delete the driver software for this device". Click "OK". Then unplug and re-insert the GC adapter. Now reinstall the zadig driver using the guide.

If that doesn't work, check that the adapter and controller work on your Wii-U. They might have died.
