No it doesn't also in pad settings it does not list it under device. Also I have tried uninstalling the driver through device manager and reinstalling it.
WUP-028 is using driver version 6.1.7600.16385 by libusb.info.
It does recongise my 360 controller however, but I only have one of those, so not much good for Mario Kart.
