Gamecube controller doesn't work on particulair game

I've had no trouble with any game apart from Mario strikers charged footbal. The ones i downloaded seem to ignore the standard controller completely. The wii mote however does respond.
Is this a known issue? Is it possible to configure my gamecube controller to a wiimote ? 07-06-2016, 12:03 AM
