gamecube controller configuration not working properly

My GameCube controller is hooked up using the controllers adapter for wii u. When I'm configuring my controller it shows it working correctly when I point the analog stick to the right, but when I point it left it shows that I'm only holding the stick half way to the left. In games this makes me move incredibly slow when I need to move left. I've tried changing the port and controller I'm using and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Did you setup using Zadig like in the Guide? The default Windows driver is not perfect yet
