Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has encountered a solution with this device:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ZWWTCZK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have plugged in my gamecube controller and opened a ROM in Dolphin and nothing has happened with regards to the controller. I know that on Windows you must install Zadig, is there an equivalent on OSX?

Cheers,

ViRGE

Did you not look at the last page and see the Sierra/high sierra update?

Aka post 84: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-os-x-gcn-adapter-kext-testers-wanted?pid=458800#pid458800

I did pal but none of that stuff makes any sense. I have no idea what to do with kext files or anything like that. Is there a simplified answer (sorry to sound like an idiot)

Cheers,

The simple explanation is to:
download both files from post 84
unzip them
make sure they’re in the same folder
Disable SIP
run the .pkg file
enable SIP

To disable/enable SIP, this is a good tutorial:

Howdy! So After following the instructions given, I was able to hook up the adapter. My Mac (Catalina 10.15.5) recognizes the adapter... until the second I start running a game. Then it is no longer able to. What's going on?? (Sorry folks, I know next to nothing about computers)
