OK, so with the release of Dolphin 5.0, i decided i wanted to celebrate, and finally get around to buying a controller adapter, and a new controller. I did some bargain hunting (perhaps looking back, not the best call) and I bought what was sold on Ebay as a Mayflash brand adaptor (tho, i see no branding on the adaptor itself, and it looks a little different from the one sold), and a (genuine looking) gamecube controller i bought off of a used console site called JJgames.
The issues ive had with it are. . . Odd, and vary from game to game. In Zelda Wind Waker, it seems to work almost perfectly, with only the Z button having issues. In paper mario thousand year door on the other hand, it sems like i cant get almost any buttons to work, and i cant even bring up the start menu, made even odder because i can press start in the opening menu. In the zelda collectors edition, it just acts like the control stick is slanted to the left, and if i force it right it, stops. If i start a game, i cant seem to get past that games menu at all with the controler.
Unfortunately, i've let a friend borrow my wii, and he seems to have misplaced it.
So, i cant really test if its the controler or whats going on. Is anyone having a similar issue here, or is it just me, and does anyone have any advise?
