GameCube adapter not working

Sorry to bump, but there's still no hope for this adapter, right? It still just flickers between detected/not detected in Dolphin after you start a game.
I was wondering if there was some way to get it recognized as a generic PC controller instead

Same problem with me. Once I start a game, the adapter flickers between detected and not detected. Really hoping to get a Gamecube controller working on dolphin. Using the NYKO Gamecube adapter btw. 

Any hope for this issue?? seems like a ton of people are having.

Yes, the Nintendo adapter and the Mayflash adapter. I'm not aware of any specific other ones that work.

EDIT: So Dolphin recognizes the adapter, but once I start a game Dolphin stops detecting it. I think that's the reason for the problem, but I don't know how to fix it.

I have the same issue since the recent Dolphin updates. For some reason it demands more permissions and that stops it from working at all. Never had issues before this. https://imgur.com/kP7c4Hf

I believe there is an issue that Dolphin is not recognizing atm.

I've solved my issue. I use this software when playing with a GC Controller Adapter outside of Dolphin: http://m4sv.com/page/wii-u-gcn-usb-driver
But while in Dolphin, having that software running messes up Dolphin, so just stopping it or quitting it before opening Dolphin makes the Adapter work again.
