I own a YCCTEAM adapter that has worked on PC and Switch for a few months now. A while ago I was trying to use the official Dolphin supported controller mode instead of "Standard Controller", so I changed some drivers in Zadig. It didn't work in the end so I stopped trying. The adapter still worked fine after that. Now I have tried to use my controller with my PC and it is recognized as "GameCube Controller Adapter" in PC mode and not 4 seperate controllers. I have tried in Dolphin and in Rivals of Aether which has built in GC support but the controller just won't be recognised. It still works perfectly on my Switch however. Does anyone have a solution?

I just helped my friend solve a similar issue with a non-official adapter this weekend. Here's what I did to get it to work:
1. While it's plugged in, go into Windows Device Manager, find the device, right-click on it and choose "uninstall this device" and check the option to delete the driver. 2. Unplug the controller adapter 3. Put the controller adapter into Switch/WiiU mode 4. Plug in both USB plugs (black first?) 5. Wait for Windows to finish doing driver stuff 6. Follow the steps to install the Zadig driver here: https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/how-...u/#Windows 7. When it asks you to choose the device, choose the "GameCube Controller Adapter" instead of "WUP-028" 8. It should now work with Dolphin set to use the controller adapter 10-23-2020, 06:25 AM

But, how would I be able to play other non-Dolphin games (i.e. Rivals) with it on PC mode? That doesn't seem to be working anymore. |
