I followed the dolphin wiki guide on installing the adapter, and it works perfectly fine. However, after installation, every single other game that involves a controller continually thinks i'm holding up on the joystick of a controller that does not exist. I'm guessing messing with the drivers makes the computer think that a controller is still plugged in and giving an input all the time, but i'm not sure. Is there any way around this? Or did i just not follow the installation properly?

The only thing I can think of is that you also installed drivers the let you use the controller in other games, otherwise it shouldn't have any effect on them afaik.
