Gamecube Adapter detected, but not working

Hi all, and thanks for taking the time to read this!

I purchased an unofficial gamecube adapter, and followed the Dolphin wiki guide to install it. It is switched to Wii, and everything went normally, besides the adapter being named 'GameCube For Switch' instead of 'WUP-028,' however the USB ID is 057E 0337, and the driver installed without a hitch. Running dolphin, hitting configure next to GameCube Adapter for Wii U results in the 'Adapter Detected' message. However, launching Brawl (wii iso), no inputs are registered. I have tried various combinations of USB ports, physical controller ports, and selecting ports in Dolphin controller settings, but nothing has worked!

Please help!
