like the title says but i do have some more info for u guys. First off i know games running slow is a common problem. But this is weird because it was working just fine (except for audio problems, which i didn't mind) for the three days i was playing it. Then today i opened it up to play and it was running in slow motion! I did not change any setting prior to this problem happening. I did however start trying to mess with some settings after this happened, but i don't really know what i'm doing. The only thing that seems to do anything (i haven't tried all the settings just a few) is the backend setting. When i set it to OpenGL it runs faster but the frame rate will go really slow then fast the slow again. It's really jumpy. If i set it to Direct3D9 or Direct3D11 it just runs in slow motion the whole time.

I should also mention that I have a pretty decent computer. I can run most single player games on high, not ultra high or anything but high is still pretty good. Especially with games like Skyrim.

Please help! I was really having a good time with this game so I really hope you guys have a solution!

Did you update dolphin? Later builds seem to be a bit more demanding. Other than that We need to know your exact settings to offer any help. It's also possible your cpu is overheating. Run coretemp and post your temps while running dolphin.

This is irrelevant to dolphin use. Dolphin has higher cpu requirements than most, if not all, current pc games. Pc games have higher gpu requirements. It's really an apples to oranges thing.

Edit: It's also a good idea to post your specs, dolphin version, and the games your are trying to play in a thread asking for help.

Your CPU is a bit slow for most games (only 3 cores max will be used btw).

And you didn't mention which game(s) you were trying to play
