Nope the ship has only one upgrade for speed, it's the last upgrade you get, because it allows you to fight a certain Rogress that is flying on world map (certaining inspired by FF7 Ultima Weapon Smile )

Edit: Airship fully upgrade speed is running at perfectly 60fps, I didn't found any issue on world map other than the camera 2x speed. Battles are ok too.

Edit2: The Slow auto-movement fixes makes the game run at 30fps if I talk with NPCs too fast? and sometimes will crash if I open the menu and go back to game, when it doesn't crash it goes back to 60fps, however this only happened on Jada in others towns I couldn't reproduce this issue and it doesn't always happen in Jada either, about the crash, it freezes the image and the fps at 30fps (or 0fps I didn't check dolphin window and I just saw that it won't show 0fps on screen sometimes) while the BGM is playing normally.

Ingame cutscenes starts at 30fps for two seconds and then switch back to 60.

Thanks for the freeze report. Was that on 5.0 or a newer dev build? The slow movement fix catches a lot of stuff and reverts everything to 30 fps for a few seconds. If it's not annoying, then it's a good fix, minus any freezing. I can exclude 60fps cutscenes and the menu from it.

After hours of searching I finally found the camera values. I literally found all the other camera values before the rotation one. You can use these as AR codes to test:

04535be8 3C80AE10 //camera rotate, walking
04535bf0 3D410518 //camera rotate, ship.

Replace the last value with 3D75C28F and see if the ship camera feels even better. I'm going to go use the other camera values I found to work on a little surprise.

It was dolphin 5.0.

The "slow movement fix" is a little annoying to me, since I don't have any reason to use it (at least not yet), is there any part of the game that will crash or better what exactly it fix other than 2xspeed from Characters&NPCs? I just don't see why I should use it, I prefer to play without it, as along I am not getting any crash of course if it fix crashes then I'm fine with it.

About the camera value: when I'm using the value 3D75C28F the camera is more accurate to the speed from 30fps, with 3D410518 the speed is far from the speed that it moves on 30fps but it looks cool for me, so in the end I prefer to use the more slow ver. value 3D410518. Smile

Oh, that's looks promising looking foward to it, I will hope for the best (a fix for the struttering on the camera in towns.) Smile

The slow movement fix, fixes some LN scenes with characters moving around at half speed, places your character auto-walks (walking away from off-limit areas) at half speed, and it fixes jumping across rocks and such too fast. I've dialed it down to not affect npc conversations and the menu. Shops are still affected, but not by much because it goes back to 60 fps by the time the shop menu is up. My goal is to make it not noticeable unless the fps counter is up. It does not prevent crashes, and hopefully won't cause any more. It can be optionally removed.

For camera speeds, I just halved the 30 fps value to get 3D4. You can also change it to whatever you want if you think it needs more tweaking - any value between 3d410518 (slow) and 3d75c28f (fast) should be fine. Similarly for the value above that, which affects on-foot camera movement.

You mean how camera movement in towns looks a bit jumpy? I couldn't decide if that happened on 30 fps too, or if the 60 fps mod just made the camera move twice as fast, thus feeling more jumpy. I didn't notice any other stutter on the camera in towns, so let me know.

Acctually I think the problem is the L'Arc movement that strutters when running or walking, resulting in this issue, I tested that if I move little by little nothing wrong happens to the camera, so there is nothing wrong with the camera.

But I agree it appears to be present in 30fps too. o_O

Strange even on World Map it appears to be present in 30fps, however only when I am running all to the left or all to the right, if I just rotate the camera it is fine, now if I keep running and rotating the camera it happens too, but when running at 60fps, world map run smooth in every possible way, so maybe it's really L'Arc movement that is causing it in towns/dungeons.

Doing some comparasion with 30fps, in Carbunculus city, I just saw that the camera moves more fast in 60fps than in 30fps, there is chance that getting this camera to running more slow fix that issue.

Annoyingly, I entered an invalid something in the gecko ini and it deleted all my codes @_@. Hopefully all my intended fixes are in this new one: You may remove the AR camera speeds when using this.

My surprise has nothing to do with the town cameras, because those use completely different code, but I did a quick look and couldn't figure it out. I want to get back to Xenoblade soon, so I'll probably leave it alone if it isn't too annoying.  The last thing I might do is try to increase draw distance on the world map. Here's my surprise, it's not much but use LT/RT and B+ LT/RT on the world map. Only works with the emulator running a Gamecube standard controller.

The camera issue in towns/dungeons is not so annoying to me, however it's the last big issue left to be fixed, the code is pretty much perfect right now, only big issue now is that, since you even fixed the World Map.

If you get the camera running at normal speed and it didn't fix the camera issue you may want to leave it, since you will need to fix L'Arc run to see if it improves.

I couldn't get the world map camera code to work, it allow to move the camera to down with the right stick when LT is pressed with B?
My controller config:
[attachment=16091]

btw: RT is not a good button to do this on world map because it's used to open the airship menu (Summon and Autopilot)

Increased Draw distance will be fun. Smile

Dang, I guess I haven't unlocked the RT menu yet? You should be able to use it on foot if the menu is only on the ship.

LT alone, RT alone, B+LT, and B+RT are the controls, no stick movement.

Odd, It works for me and the TAS input under the movie menu also works. The L and B you mentioned are correct. There is a limit where LT /LT +B stops doing anything, but you'd see a change before that. Anyway, what it's supposed to do is zoom the camera in and out, and rotate it up and down giving you more freedom of where you want the camera. Maybe load up a newish game and try it before the RT = menu button happens. Also try it without the 60 fps code (and not loading from a savestate that had the 60fps).

/edit Sorry, it doesn't work in 5.0. Use a fairly recent dev build

As for draw distance... Not as easy as I thought, because the short draw distance hides the loading of new map areas. I did find a fog strength value next to the draw distances. Maybe I'll make up an AR code with interesting values if you want to play with it.

/edit Since this is a 60fps thread. I put the codes for draw distance and FoV in the Fantasia's game thread.
/edit2. World Map footstep sounds play 2x as fast. The long elevator event moves at half speed, but also seems to have a different position than shown (either normal or x2).
/edit3 I think I fixed event animations like the elevator and walking. Will probably undo the optional animation fix and replace it. It'll leaving jumping broken, but that's fine.
I noticed you only seem to have glitchy running in towns when the camera is moving, so the camera movement is probably at fault. Not sure if I'll be able to change it, since the camera has a fixed path and may get interpolated.
