Sorry for the huge delay.

Here is my port attempt via hex calculator comparisons, hope this works like the 60fps ones apparently do.

If I had a picture of the game's memory in these two spots via debugger memory viewer,I could tell if they are correct from a comparison of N64 RDRAM default values.

Those values for the original N64 RDRAM are:

Would be AWESOME if someone could make Cars for Gamecube 60fps. The game is great to play with my kids, but.. with 30fps it really ruins the sense of speed.

60fps patch/codes are very rare nowadays, since people with the knowledge to do this are not doing any at moment or are working on few ones, I have been waiting for a small fix on Arc Rise Fantasia 60fps code but there no fix yet, one guy said it probable wouldn't be hard to fix it, but he hasn't even finished what he was doing because of life and others things.

No one with the motivation of @gamemasterplc has appeared here to work on 60fps patches yet.

For now we can only hope for someone with the knowledge to do this appears here or we can learn by ourselfs how to do this. :p

Unfortunately, there is no complete list of 60fps codes like at the PCSX2 forums, so there are some good codes buried in the many pages of this topic. Solitarius had already posted a code for that game on page 51, and from what I have seen, the code appears to work perfectly.

04819E68 00000001 Doubles timings and camera movement, but doesn't change move/jump speed
04CA54C0 3F000000 Halves animations and timings. Move/Jump speed is cut in half. Camera is unchanged.

Overall, you end up with half move/jump speed and double camera speed.  Didn't notice if anything else ends up at half speed. The camera speed isn't too important because you can turn it down in options, but there could be a part of the game that relies on the camera speed.

Here's my, hopefully, fully working Xenoblade 60 fps code. Could use some help testing it. Note that it uses 30 fps in menus and during burst affinity/chain (hit B! prompt) for proper timings. Also, you need to lower the camera speed in options.

I noticed the slowdown factor is used to pause the game. I wonder if that's how it was originally found? Major thanks to solitarius for getting me started with the most important codes.

Gecko:

$60fps
C244B468 00000001
60000000 00000000
04819e78 0000001E
04819e68 00000002
22CA54C0 00000000
04CA54C0 3F000000
206642A0 00000000
04819e68 00000001

Sidenote: A proper tutorial on how to do things like this might get more people interested in working on such things. Unless there is one I don't know about? I've only been using the debugger, PowerPC, and Gecko codes for a few days, so it's not that hard to produce something useful after learning the basics.

/edit This is becoming quite the ordeal, fixing minor issues then having bugs pop up. Made a major change to try and avoid issues, but it'll need testing as well. On another note, it looks like cutscenes only have 30 frames / second of animation, so 60 fps looks janky. Unless it's just lag on my part., I'll probably have to drop cutscenes to 30 fps as well.

Nice 60fps code @One More Try, can you please take a look on Arc Rise Fantasia later?

Arc Rise 60fps code works amazing but the walking issue makes the game unplayable at 60fps, would be great if you could fix it or at least cap that walking animation to 30fps.

Here some info from the autor Merkava:
Code:
About the 60 FPS hack, I was messing around with it and came up with this cheat...

[b][ActionReplay]
$60FPS (Buggy)[/b]
0044260C 0000003F
00442610 0000003F
00442617 00000000
0044260D 00000080
00442611 00000080
0044261B 00000001

Now, the good news... it works, it does unlock the framerate but it sadly doesn't quite work perfectly. Lemme list what does and doesn't work:

[b]What Works:
Battles -[/b] From what I tested battles work perfectly with the 60fps hack. Rogress, Excel Arts, spells, attack animations, movement, etc. It all works perfectly.
[b]Fully Animated Cut-scenes -[/b] Talking about the ones with the black bars on the bottom of the screen and are fully animated, they seem to work perfectly. No sync problems or anything of the sort.
[b]FMVs - [/b]No issue with the playback.

[b]What doesn't work:
Movement in Towns/Dungeons -[/b] Sadly, L'arcs walking animation severely glitches out if you unlock the framerate. L'arc starts getting stuck and his footsteps sound twice as fast. Everything else seems to work perfectly.
[b]Context Sensitive Actions -[/b] Seems to be a minor issue but any context sensitive action plays twice as fast. Could lead to sync issues but that might not be the case at all.
[b]Walking Animation during Real-Time Cutscenes - [/b]Talking about the simpler cutscenes (usually played out in Visual Novel Style), when characters try to move during said cutscenes they tend to scroll at half the speed. This can cause a few sync issues with some cutscenes but shouldn't really break anything.
[b]The World Map - [/b]Everything just runs at 2x speed.

I don't have the game.  I wonder if it's similar to Xenoblade, because it looks like you can slow everything except walking speed. That's what some of those lines do, right? Slow it down,
Do you have any experience with the Dolphin debugger?

Actually, let's rewrite that code to be more clear/testable:

0444260C 3F800000
04442610 3F800000
0044261B 00000001
00442617 00000000

I think that is correct.

You should consider get this game if you liked JRPG games like Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Chrono Trigger and/or Chrono Cross. Smile

The bad about Arc Rise is the eng voice acting, you really should get the undub patch if you get this game. Wink

Unfortunate I don't have experience with codes.

I just tried your rewrite code here and it works but it didn't fix the walking animation, but it didn't caused any other issues either.
