It affects in-game saving for me too; but other people weren't having that issue, so I figured I had something wrong.

I have no idea what would cause that, though.

Interesting... I don't know what it means but I have the same issue with Ishiiruka (has the 'Half Audio Speed Hack' included now).

Absolutely amazing! Thank you to all those that were involved in making this happen!

This is crazy, only yesterday I was looking at Dolphin and PCSX2 60fps hacks!

This is pretty cool. The v-beam speed hack has been removed now, but hopefully this report motivates someone to properly implement methods to get games to 60fps.

@TSM: just look at the PR itself, phire did describe very well how to hack in 60 fps with just AR codes: https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/2025

Somebody has to make a Xenoblade 60 FPS code first.

Wait, so the 60FPS patch requires the VBeam Speedhack, and it gets removed in v4.0-5432.

That's interesting, considering the fact that this article was before that version.

You can still run the 60 FPS patch without it. It required other modifications anyway, so it's not like a huge loss or anything.

You don't need to axe it.
All you need to do is to determine which game has a 30 frame per second limit outside of menus (in game).
Only games in this database can use this speed hack.
The moderator (whom ever is last to ok a patch) should then confirm this database, any speed hack should automatically be set up to be rejected until approved.
The moderator then consults the database and approves based on this.
Simple.
Games which technically don't have a ceiling should not use this patch.
The alternative is to make a import file speed hack outside of patches, meaning the user applies it with no guarantee.
So you got a import speed hack menu in dolphin, and the user must load the specific speed hack for the specific game.
If you want to make sure, no unauthorized speed hacks are released in the wild, then give a certificate to each approved speed hack, and patch that into dolphin.
That way only approved speed hacks can run regardless of whom they are created by.
