I need to have a look at WW/TP when I get some time this weekend, but if I recall correctly, there's a possibility that the game treats game framerate and animation framerate as two separate values. I don't have time to test the code, but if it's doing what I think it does, then you might have to change one other value that reflects the rate for the animation in the game. Thankfully the game has a symbol list, so hopefully using the address you modified in conjunction with the list should point you in the right direction (hopefully the value to change is used in the same class of functions, hehe).

PS: if anyone wants to take a shot at Wave Race Blue Storm that'd be great. that game was giving me problems trying to locate the value to change before. the framerate for the game changes all the time, heh.

How are you guys doing those codes?
I would love to learn this stuff so much. Especially find codes for Nhl 2k11, cuz nobody from coders here play this I guess Smile

Where should I start, what should I read?

Searching when fps changes via cheat search and additionally the albeit highly unstable debugger memory view, and if fps doesn't change, exploit using underclocking/overclocking in the settings while the game is running to search greater than and previous than through under and over the clock rate, then the opposite search order if nothing gets found.
Using cheat search without the debugger enabled is recommended if you have frequent crashes with it on.
You are lucky if you can find an address with 00000002 as the default and higher when underclocked, along with the easier help by saying less than 0x00000100 and greater than 0x00000000 to crush the results count immensely.

I hope some expert code searchers can find the needed pacing addresses for Wind Waker and Twilight Princess,it seems excessively difficult on my limitations and Dolphin's limitations as well with that memory viewer and the cheat search.
SMS's pacing address is a static 32bit float point value,my guess is that both Zelda's also have this kind of address even though I failed to find the stable too fast 60fps for Sunshine after a handful of attempts with clock rate shifting.
Warning, underclocking too low will crash some games like Sunshine with 12% or lower.

I wonder if the same guy that did the 60 FPS patch for NTSC Mario Sunshine will be able to do the same with the EUR version (force it to run at 50 instead of 25). I have found the corresponding debug map for that version, I don´t know... maybe it can help.

Oh, and about Wind Waker, I just noticed there are tons of debug map files inside the contents of the disk. It could help him too, maybe. Don´t you think?

EDIT: I mean, if they haven´t been done yet.

The Code on the Wiki works for Both NTSC and PAL. The PAL version will run at 50FPS if you select 50hz at startup if you use the code.

For some reason, Dolphin freezes during the game´s boot (with the code enabled, that is).

It will temporarily freeze for a few seconds due to memory searching.

Oh, I see. Will try again when I have more time (now I´m having issues with that same game on 5.0-492... what a shame).

Upon "a certain user's" request *wink wink*,I however found a code for NTSC because I can't search it for PAL to the dismay of the requester, sorry for that though, here is the NTSC region code I ended up with.

NHL 2K11 (SH3E54)

Always 60fps
0027597F 00000001
02=Default
Now the pause menu and replays (and likely other things) run at 60fps as long as your system can handle it obviously, considering how demanding this game is.
(Hmm...I find it strange that the AR code section works for Wii games too,I guess it uses a generic version that works on all modes.)

The request was for the PAL version,so this code for NTSC should help anyone find/port it for that region, but it will be harder to port than to simply find it since I can't locate any Gecko codes on code sites anywhere for any region.

Simply start a quick match as is then search for Equal To: 0x01 when in a moment that already runs at 60fps and 0x02 when on the pause menu to possibly get down to four results very quickly like I did.
This code is not a frameskipper,as setting the value to 03 causes the game to freeeze at 0fps until disabled.
Luckily, this realtime value is not like the Zelda addresses in the way that it actually allows it to be 60fps when forced directly.
