Your computer's drivers could have changed, too, especially if you have Windows update enabled. When you're at the very, very, very bottom end of what Dolphin can even run on, it's rather difficult to figure out what's wrong.

What JosJuice is referring to is that you can run Dolphin in "portable mode" (meaning that it does not save anything outside the folder where the executable Dolphin.exe is, settings and game saves are also in subfolders) by creating an empty file named portable.txt in the same folder where Dolphin.exe is. This allows users (and developers) to test out different Dolphin versions and settings without the old settings getting in the way. Without the portable.txt Dolphin reads settings and game saves and other stuff from the general user folder (which is set by the operating system) and it may be difficult to start from the default settings. Also, shader cache is located either in the user folder OR in Dolphin folder (latter, if you use portable.txt). 05-13-2019, 04:51 AM

Are you suggesting that I should do that? 05-13-2019, 08:22 AM

Are you using a desktop? Cause if so, you should really just buy a cheap GTX 750 to fix the problem.
