I recently upgraded to the latest development version of Dolphin. Whenever I try to run a game, it comes up black, and then there's no way for me to exit unless I use task manager.

Your HD 2500 is, well, screwed up. Dolphin needs full D3D11.1 support which your GPU doesn´t have.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

I tried going back to 5.0, I'm having the same issue. This isn't a new thing for me, it happened at irregular intervals in the past but it usually worked after I left it alone for a while. It's clearly not my Video card because it worked before. I'm thinking there's some setting I've overlooked.
Delete your shader cache in 5.0 - it was before we worked around a driver issue with loading cached shaders.
You're really below our minimum requirements but, hey, that should allow you to see stuff. 05-13-2019, 01:07 AM

Theres not much to help here. Like others said, your GPU is woefully unsupported. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work.

My GPU has been the same for quite some time. This version of Dolphin had been working decently with it. It wasn't until after I decided to switch to the development version that it started crashing. Then, when I switched back, the problem persisted, even though I deleted all documents pertaining to the program before installing. Therefore, I can deduce that my issue has little to no relation to the video card. 05-13-2019, 03:12 AM
Yeah, if it worked in 5.0 before, it should still be possible to have it work in 5.0... Even if it might not work in the development versions.
Just in case, you're not using portable.txt, are you? Because if you are, my instructions for deleting the shader cache aren't correct. |
