Can you try resident evil 0 and the remake. I am very interested to see them in some phone. RE4 there are so many videos of SD 821 running at a good framerate

Alright then. It is unfortunate that you have not understood the issues we've been trying to explain to you. Even if you didn't, you should have at the very least changed the name of the thread out of respect for posting in our community and the requests of the staff.
So for the best interest of the community, I'm changing the title of the thread myself. Please be more careful in your phrasing of things in the future. *waves her magic moderator wand* Intel Xeon w7-3465X OC | Asus Pro WS W790-E Sage SE | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 FE | 8x16GiB G-Skill Zeta R5 DDR5-6000 | Windows 11 22H2 | (details)

I cannot really understand why there is so much hate for android and mobile SoC on here. People really don't understand the significance of this.. From what I've seen from yours and various other videos, the new snapdragon 835 is a major improvement over the 821 and even over the X1 in terms of its dolphin performance. You said that you haven't experienced thermal throttling yet either? That is great news! So what if it isn't running 100% on all games all the time? I actually intend on buying a phone and ideally with snapdragon 835 myself so I am highly interested in seeing how it performs on other gamecube games too as well as other emulators. Maybe in a couple of years we will finally be able to emulate Mario Galaxy 1/2 fairly fluidly on a smartphone? Let's hope! 04-24-2017, 07:06 PM

Is twilight princess an easy to emulate game in your opinion..? Shall i show you my smooth fps in hyrule field? Cpu core speed was kept at 100%. This phone is outstanding and has no slowdowns for me, and to the average joe like myself this feels full speed and is fully playable, regardless of your silly nit picking of my wording. Please show a few hours of Rogue Squadron 2 the Hoth level, Rogue Squadron 3, The Last Story, Xenoblade Chronicles, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Twilight Princess on Hyrule field near the end of the game, Paper Mario TTYD, 4+ player SSB Brawl or Melee, Super Paper Mario with a minimum framerate of 25fps all the time.

Indeed, the S8 is a really nice device. I agree, there is a noticeable improvement compared to Snapdragon 820 powered devices. I'm very proud that dolphin works as fine on a mobile, so I would like to encourage everyone with the Snapdragon version of the S8 to try dolphin.
*But* I don't think it is good enough to call it "runs every dolphin game I throw at it full speed with no framerate issues". I don't want to encourage anybody to buy this mobile just to play dolphin, as you'll be disappointed. Every recent i3+ windows tablet runs at about the double speed, and they are still too weak to play half of the games. eg try the Acer Aspire Switch 12, it is faster, cheaper, and with less bugs. Dealing with the half-finished Android UI is another issue. 04-24-2017, 10:02 PM
I think that some of the community members would be happy when some of the games are full playable and with the possibility to beat it completely, if we have some framerates with the game its something natural we are speaking about a phone and that its emulating one of the best consoles that bring Nintendo to the mark. I am sure that with some graphical errors and some specials options the game are perfectly to play. The next weeks we will see so many people uploading gameplyas at different parts. I am very impressive with the great work that make the android dolphin community. Only say thank you very much

I mean, are you aware that you're talking to the very people responsible for making this happen? If anyone understands the significance of anything Dolphin can do, on any given platform or situation, it's the people who envisioned it and put thousands of man hours into making it happen. It took passion and willpower, a lot of it, including from the people working on the Android build, which you are saying 'don't understand the significance of this'. And if all I was talking about was development work, it'd already be an amazing feat. But it is so much more. Dolphin, among some other emulation teams, managed to turn the mess that was the emulation scene into a highly organized, user-friendly, thriving community. Mods, devs and adms have been providing extensive support, teaching and most importantly, fighting misinformation here, for more than 10 years. So yeah, please show some respect. This applies to Cencil as well. You don't get to advertise software in a way that goes against the dev's will. The very people who coded the Android build are telling you things are not the way you are saying they are. So they are not. If there was 'hate for android and mobile SoC' here, you wouldn't be able to play GC games on your phone.
