Title explains everything, however, I run into the situation where I can't tap to show the in-game drop down menu to adjust the control layout Running 5.0-7539

Drag your right sidebar for (smart edge, people edge, etc) and drag it back. Don't remove your finger from the touch screen.

I had the same issue and I stumbled into it

It did work, however, I want to use the controls in landscape mode, and whenever I do that, the controls appear off screen.

Drag each button into the center of the screen, then rotate the phone to landscape, then reposition them. It's a little awkward but, it works!

I have the s8 as well. I notice the major improvement to dolphin over the year and I tip my hat Smile. On the s8, some games can be play but the 60 fps game don't reach full speed.  I was thinking of getting a new handheld device. What would you say is the best handheld device for dolphin on android.

Thank you
Dom

The s9 will be faster... or any device that uses the Snapdragon 845. That said, I wouldn't recommend any handheld Android device for Dolphin right now. If you really want to go handheld, think about getting a GPD Win 2 * https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gpd-win-2-handheld-game-console-for-aaa-games--2#/ *

It is still not fast nor cheap, but it will be better than any other handheld device out there.
Check my profile for up to date specs.
