Can confirm all games tested (about 6 or 7) now boot. Most with graphical issues and speed issues (worse than some older builds when using the minimise trick) but obviously much improved stability is highly appreciated. Thankyou to the devs for all their hard work

This fix is unrelated to performance. The minimise trick was not a workaround for this icache invalidation issue, it's to cheat the samsung power saving "feature" which triggers the icache bug. So it's now stable, but the power saving "feature" is still active.

Would be cool if Stenzek could merge this fix to Vulkan pr, though I'm not sure if it'll see Vulkan libraries on S7 due to it's renamed by Samsung to libvulkan_sec.so, instead of libvulkan.so

zxcvbad: This is already merged to master, so just wait for Stenzek next rebase. It will happen very soon.

Excellent work! Thank you to all involved in implementing this fix.
I've also tried on a good few games and whilst it will occasionally crash back to menu when trying on first load it has always worked on second load and never crashed once loaded. I can set my s7 to run at a constant 2.6Ghz yet still have severe slow down in the two games I tested - wind waker and nba street vol. 2 Shouldn't the overclock bypass the slowdown issue? As I understand it the issue is related to samsung's stock cpu governor which throttles speed.

I've just started researching into the whole S7 driver mess. Found out I have OpengGL ES 3.2 v1.r12p1
Does that mean I'm screwed until Samsung updates their drivers...? If the answer is yes, which driver version last worked well with Dolphin?

You want to roll back to a pre-August security update ROM, I believe that is any from before BPH6. The GPU drivers you want are v1.r9p0. 09-13-2016, 05:27 AM
