I have a Galaxy S7 with an exynos 9880 processor and with the last software update I finally obtained the Opengl's EXT_BUFFER_STORAGE extention.

So I was so excited to test games with low framerate but when I launch mario kart double dash and 3d model's textures are totally glitches and it changes of colour every time and cinematics are epileptic flashes.

So I tried with the vulkan API but when I launch the game a blue and dark filter is on the screen.

At this moment I thought opengl can't see 3d model's texture but when I launch a game bomberman generations  the game haven't any problems.

To end this thread I want to precise that glitches are on mario sunshine too and with the vulkan API the game won't launch.

I really hope that someone can help me.(Sorry if there's language errors I'm french)

Thanks for reply or give me an explanation.

Known issues. the Mali GPU driver in your phone has a fair number of bugs that Dolphin trips over. There's nothing you can do beyond hoping Samsung updates them in an OS update (and that an updated driver actually fixes the bugs Dolphin trips over). I don't know how well Samsung updates phones past their 2 year support requirement.

Does that mean that samsung/arm fixed it's mali drivers on the s9 (Exynos) since it's displaying just fine here (opengl) or does the newly added EXT_Buffer_Storage cause issues?

Maybe...

We should try to only use buffer_storage for the vertex upload and not for the index and uniform uploads. They have shown to trigger driver bugs on other GPUs as well.

Andreno?
I hope what your saying would be optional or it will slow other games down.
