Since the Galaxy S10 line launches in a few days, I was wondering if anyone has any reports on how well Dolphin has been running on the Snapdragon model? Especially Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door. Some other people and I are on the fence about buying one, but if Gamecube games show a lot of improvement and are running smoothly (especially TTYD) we definitely will get it. Thank you!

It's likely that the 855 will show improvement in dolphin performance over the 845. The only question will be how aggressive Samsung's thermal management of the CPU will be but, it's too early to know for sure. If you do plan on getting the S10, buy it for all it's excellent features and treat it's probable performance in dolphin as a bonus.

Unless they drastically improve their driver, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door will still have severe issues with the bounding box effects. They'll render correctly and the game won't crash on the latest drivers, but they're incredibly slow.

rounak, you're still not allowed to link to videos that have piracy links in the description.

Thanks for the replies everyone, if anyone gets their hands on one in a few days and is able to test it and tell us the results that would be great. And don't worry, I'll get the phone for other reasons, Dolphin will be a bonus.

Now that the phone has been released, has anyone been able to try it?

So I have only tried it with a few games (Melee, Brawl, and a pit of hundred trials rando mod of paper mario) but they are all running at 60 fps. I have the s10+ and I have a gamecube adapter plugged in. I am planning to load some of my other games to test them later.
