I have a 144hz monitor, so in order for my game to register as 60fps, I need to have GSYNC on. Otherwise my monitor thinks the game is running at 144hz and will cause unbearable frame stutter since 60fps and 144hz don't divide evenly. To fix this, I thought about switching my monitor to 120hz so that I would have a smooth frame rate-- but that introduced an extreme amount of input lag for some reason. So, the best solution I had was to turn on GSYNC, which makes my monitor run at a variable refresh rate; if the game runs at 60fps my monitor will run at 60hz... at least it should. Anyway, for some reason when I run Dolphin, my monitor fluctuates from 60hz to around 40hz, can jump to 120hz, overall it jumps all over the place instead of staying at the game's steady 60fps framerate which causes the game to look really choppy. I don't think Dolphin and GSYNC work well together, is there any way to fix this? Or would the Dolphin devs have to update the emulator in order to support it?
