After months of trying to get Dolphin working, I have reached a milestone. I have got my wiimote and nun chuck paired and working, in addition to proper game saves.

I am just having one small problem which i hope you can help with. When Dolphin is in Windowed mode and doesn't take up much space on the desktop I can get almost constant VPS 60 and 100% speed.

However, when I launch in to Full Screen mode it goes back down to 30-40 FPS.

Note: I am playing Super Mario Galaxy 2

Is there something I am doing wrong?

I am running the latest build from http://www.dolphin-emu.org/

My specs are: 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo - NVIDIA GeForce 320M.

Thanks in advance.

no there is nothing wrong with that it happens to everyone it's just because when you play in full screen the resolution gets higher
resolution is what makes the picture better (aside from anti aliasing) but the higher the more processing power you use

in simple: when screen= small it go faster than when screen = big

Lower the fullscreen resolution to your windowed resolution and try again Wink.

thanks a lot captain obvious. Fullscreen will most likely be a higher resolution than windowed, thus being slower. Unless both resolutions are the same, there won't be any difference.
