Wii-mote connects temporarly and then the Bluetooth device loses connection, probably because after a while the Wii-mote shuts off on its own. How do I stop this?

Is this happening while you're playing or while you're trying to connect your Wiimote to the PC?

If it's during the connection process, here's what I do to connect.

1. Right-click on the Bluetooth icon and select "Show Bluetooth Devices" -> remove "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01" (if available)

2. Right-click on the Bluetooth icon and select "Add a Device" -> activate your Wiimote (I press 1 + 2, no idea if it matters though) -> choose "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01" and click "Next"

3. Select "Pair without Code" (or something similar) and wait until Windows installs the driver.

4. Restart Dolphin (or simply start it, if it's not yet running) -> Click on the Wiimote icon -> Select "Pair Up"

5. If your Wiimote vibrates, it's connected. If not, Windows will (again) try to install the driver. Once done, redo point 4 (yes, you'll have to restart Dolphin AGAIN)

I'm sure there's a more efficient method, but that's how it works for me. (by the way, you'll have to redo all 5 steps again if you reboot your PC)

We only believe it does, because we never know what happens beyond our visions and thoughts.

I agree having to pair up the remote all the time is a pain in the ass.
I wish there was a way to do a few other things regarding the remote through dolphin.

1. To keep the remote from timing out when a game is paused for a while.
2. It would be awesome to be able to disable rumble through a setting in dolphin. I never use rumble because it wears down the batteries quicker.

Stop blaming bluesoleil meforero, just because it's slow with your machine doesn't mean it's slow for everybody. I use it and its stable, good interface, and no slowdowns at all.

Besides, how do you know he's using bluesoleil???
