Freezing Problem

It boots steam, though, so I still have to wait for it to load, so there's not much point, especially if steam is running and minimised, and I have 12 other programs all maximised which I'd have to fight down. I do see the benefits of steam and origin, but feel that for me they just add another program to deal with when I want to do something.
