Freezing on Launch

I have had dolphin installed for a while, and it ran fine at the begining. After not using it for several months I tried to run it today and it freezes every time I run it. I cannot click on any buttons and no longer how long I wait it remains "Not Responding". I updated to the new stable version as well as trying both the 64 bit and 32 bit version with the same results. I am running a Surface Pro 2 with windows 8.1.

Well, it looks like I found the answer. After waiting for 2 hours it finally started responding. It looks like it was searching the sd card for ISO files. Removing the folder from the settings helped greatly.
