I have been tinkering around with a latest builds of dolphin, like rev 3211 and 3147 and I am really happy to see that the emulator somehow uses "frameskipping" on Super Smash Brothers Brawl. In older versions, when the fps of the game dropped to like 30 fps, it seemed that the whole game slowed down, like the emulator still processed every frame... and it was like playing in slow motion! The gameclock was really slow, like a second in the game lasted 2 seconds in real time.

In these newer releases however the game speed is constant even in fps drops, i only notice the game less fluid but the gameplay is not affected in any way Big Grin the gameclock ticks at the right time =)

Still I only notice this GREAT improvement in SSBB. Super Smash Brothers Melee still slows down to slow motion when the fps drops Sad Is there any way I can enable this "frameskipping" in SSBM as well?

Brawl has a built in frame skipper. Nintendo implemented it.
