I've been using Dolphin now for about a year. Up until about November, everything I was playing ran smoothly at 60fps, no issues whatsoever. At the time I was using the stable 5.0 version. All of a sudden, I started to have instances of low framerate and choppy audio (about 10-20 frame drops), especially while playing Grand Prix on Mario Kart Double Dash. I tried installing the latest version of Dolphin, and I messed around with a lot of different graphics config options, none of which has helped so far.

Here are my stats:

Operating System: Windows 10 x64
Processor/CPU: Intel Core i7-8565U @ 1.80 GHz 1.99 GHz
Video Card/GPU: AMD Radeon R7 M440
Memory/RAM: 16 GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 5.0-13467

While I'm aware this is certainly no gaming computer, what bothers me is that it ran games on Dolphin for so long with no issue. Hoping to find a solution, if there is one out there!

Make sure it isn't over heating and that it is plugged in. Do you know if there were any sort of changes to your computer when it started running slower?

I definitely keep it plugged in.  There's a chance it could be overheating, though not sure why it would be doing it now more than before; I looked at AMD's usage stats while playing today and the GPU usage was often at 100%.  The only thing that I can think of that would have changed was AMD updated its software...but it's hard to believe that would make the GPU worse.  I've also looked into the power usage on my computer and made sure everything was set to maximize performance.

What are your graphics settings? 100% seems like there might be something up there.

Here are all the graphics/audio/config settings.  I've messed around with them a little bit before, but to no avail so far:

Gave it a shot, but it didn't change anything unfortunately.
