Hi,
First off, thanks for making Dolphin, some really amazing software.
Anyway, I have been playing Metroid Prime 2 Echoes for the GameCube. Everything runs pretty well, except I have noticed a pretty annoying bug. Maybe you guys can help?
When I am playing and my screen gets cluttered with enemies and/or action, I notice a pretty significant drop in frame rate along with the audio stuttering. I had pretty much accepted maybe my Macbook Pro 15" Retina Late 2013 just maybe wasn't able to handle it. So I decided, alright maybe I'll try and turn down the graphics or skip frames possibly.
Instead what happened was when I opened my display settings for the emulator, my frame rate immediately went smooth and audio was perfect. I thought, "Well that's odd?", but hell it worked and while I'm playing as long as the setting window is opened in the background my game will run smooth and free of stutters.
But I wouldn't be posting if there wasn't another issue, some how, some way, once I open the settings for the emulator I can no longer interact with objects. If anyone here has played Metroid, you are required to scan almost every damn thing in the area with your HUD, but for some reason it get disabled after I open the settings interface for Dolphin.
Ideally I would just like to not have the framerate issue, can anyone help with this?
Thanks,
Mike
