EDIT: Apparently the Vertical Interrupt (VI) can be used as the frame counter (since it is updated every drawn frame). The actual "frame:" word listed on the window of the emulator is incorrectly identified; it is actually the polled inputs, which can happen multiple times a frame depending on the game. This should be fixed with newer revisions of Dolphin.

OLD POST: I am attempting to create a resident evil 4 TAS with r7689. I have had no problems with r7323, since the "frame advance" only goes ahead 1 frame per button press (the "play/pause" hotkey). In the more recent builds (about r6*** => r7689) the "frame advance" seems to increment based on how long you hold the button, instead of just when the button is pressed. I try and press the button as fast as I can, but it still goes 3-4 frames. Any way to change the frame advance from older revisions to newer ones?
