Exclamation
I just got the latest version of Dolphin (r6861) and I finally got my controls worked out with my mouse and keyboard and I have Super Mario Galaxy 2. the game seems to run fine with audio and no bugs or display errors, but it only plays at ~21 fps, pretty slow. i have my configuration and graphic settings set as suggested on the main site. i have the intel i5 chip. any help or suggestions to bring my fps up? Would it be better if i got 2.0?

~~~~~~~~~
also, for some reason i cant collect stars by putting the pointer over the stars. i checked my CPU usage in the control panel while running the game and it was only at 50% usage. so im confused why its still playing at a low fps. (now its getting a little closer to 30 fps since i ended some processes)
*facepalm*
1x is the same as off. 1 sample per pixel means nothing is being changed. Just like how setting efb scaled copy to 1x would be the same as turning it off.
@Littleman794
Try using r6505. Or if you are running a 64 bit OS try this revision: http://cid-b8ece3275d590dda.office.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/Dolphin/Dolphin%20X64%20SSE4.2%20SVN%20Revision%206498.7z
Dolphin only uses 2 threads and you have a quad core cpu. That's why.
tried both of those, didnt make much of a difference. is it just my computer? i cant see why it would be though... its a 700 dollar HP (not the best i know) but it has the i5 intel chip n stuff which is only one level down from i7 so i figured it would be good.
Having the same problem with all recent releases; I was easily getting 70FPS in most games a few weeks ago but I have unfortunately deleted those directories and can't remember what builds I was actually using...going to try and use RC version but I guess it is missing a lot of optimisations.
Do you have a video card or are you using integrated graphics? That might be why.
Ok, I have tracked it down!
I can't say for sure but I believe at some point there has been a change in the default settings to use EFB ---> RAM
For myself, I stumbled upon switching to copy efb to texture and disabling CPU->EFB acces and most of my games are back to awesome FPS again
Now if I could just figure out how to get my wiimote to work in milestone shooting collection 2 I would be over the moon!
This setting represents almost surefire fail for most of my games.
As in 25fps vs easy 60-70 in many titles. Shrugs.
