So i am using dolphin Version 4.0 9230 on my HP stream 7 and i keep having this problem. Every time i run either a Wii game or GameCube game, The main menu of that game runs very smoothly, but as soon as i get into the game play, the FPS goes down to 2 or 1 at 1-17% with major, major lag issues and I honestly do not know why. I tried frame skipping to 1 or 2 but that didn't work. I tried using native up to native 4x, but that didn't work, and i even used default settings but nothing happened. Is it a bug from the newest version or my laptop or is it the direct 3D or the OpenGL option in the graphics setting? Please, I would really love the help.

Is your laptop plugged in? Is your laptop set to max performance in power options? What are your temperatures when running Dolphin? (Check here if unsure: http://openhardwaremonitor.org/)
In Dolphin Config, is framelimit set to 100%? Is the JIT Recompiler selected? What games have you tried? Also, we're going to need more specific details on your specs than just "Intel" The model of the CPU at least, please. Also, what version of Windows are you running? 04-25-2016, 02:37 PM
Your tablet has the Intel Atom Z3735F Processor (1.33GHz). That CPU is very slow and will have a very hard time running any game that isn't Crazy Taxi (the most lightweight game I can think of)

Even the PScx2 ran well on this laptop 04-25-2016, 03:10 PM
Oh, it's a atom CPU thing?
Yeah, forget Dolphin doing anything useful on your computer. 04-25-2016, 03:54 PM

Cause the Celeron N2840 performs at the same level as the Atom Z3735. Nintendo DS is way more lightweight than the GC/Wii. PCSX2 is usually less intensive than Dolphin |
