Ok so this is the deal, most of the time it's at 76% with the directx 9 plugin with all the EFB stuff disabled. With OpenGL it gets up to 83-86% (honestly I can't feel the difference I'm lookin at numbers) but with either setup the text where it says who you killed and how many times after a match (not the first screen but the one you can scroll on) all the white text is scrambled. At 1 point I had a configuration with dx9 that had it normal but it took a big speed hit so I changed it back and now I'm not even sure what it was anymore... (if you need a screen of the issue lemme know but I have a feeling it is a common thing)
The FPS here won't limit the time formula for your luck (only SSBB and few other games), upgrading the GFX card will increase it.
The VPS instead is limited by your CPU, although using a 64 bit version might provide a little boost if you're not fullspeed.
If FPS and VPS were synced in this game, it would definitely run slower (in matter of time).
64bit isn't an option since I am using 32bit windows (I've kept it this way for compatibility purposes and I hate having 2 program files folders...)
so to recap:
1.) trying to get things as close to 100% speed as possible.
2.)OpenGL runs faster than DirectX but I get a text issue that can be fixed with DX9 but takes a speed hit in the fix.
3.)Random cracking in some stages,(Ness' original stage for example) mostly ones that seems to have a lot of water or electricity. Start getting buzzing, hissing, popping, and such. (not too concerned about this but a fix would be nice) Gonna try the RE0 fix and see if that helps...
EDIT: Found that config, with EFB copy to RAM on it fixes the text but it takes a performance hit in the process (event 40 test, from 53-78%, mostly around 65%)
