new-ax-hle should only be marginally more demanding in terms of actual running speed, it's just the stuttering you're whining about. Or the speed issues you're having are from other things, like GLSL-master and perfqueries and all the FIFO stuff. Try 3.5-78, it's basically only 3.5 with new-ax-hle v1.

Also, gee, thanks, now you've hijacked the thread. >_>

Ugh okay so yeah i think I'm overclocking pretty safe since the temps dont go over 40° in idle and 60° on load... I downloaded 1338 and changed all the settings to what you recommended but it still didn't change anything... The lags are still there...

That's weird. Might be your graphics settings, then? If you're using something ridiculous like 4x IR + 9x SSAA, keep in mind that Dolphin doesn't support Crossfire/SLI, so only one of your two GPUs is carrying all that load. Your IR is set to "Auto (Window Size)", so fullscreen'll be 1440x900, and you're using 9x SSAA, which literally just triples the resolution both ways... If I've done the math right, that's a 4320x2700 (!) image your one GPU has to render.

I'd recommend setting the Internal Resolution to 3x or 4x Native and using no AA or a much lighter type of AA (preferably one of the ones in the Catalyst driver settings), as using a resolution higher than your monitor's already provides a bit of an AA effect. Using a multiple of native res also causes less graphical issues than "Auto (Window Size)" does.

You shouldn't even need to overclock for this game. It should work fine at stock.

Don't restrict your Framelimit to 50. Set it to "Off"
