Are you using LLE? IF the answer is "yes", then it´s normal to experience some slowdowns since LLE is CPU demanding.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

No, im using HLE. Sometimes games work perfectly for a while but then they start to lag.

When the aspect ratio is 4:3, games run better than on 16:9.

Sounds like your overheating the CPU, as is common in laptops at this point.

Who would have thought, doing another CPU intensive task (screen recording) would make something your computer was already struggling with (emulation) even slower. Tongue

One thing I recommend to people who want to record Dolphin, especially at high definition, is that they can comfortably run the game without recording.
