Sounds like it might be something hardware related. Check your temperatures to make sure they aren't too high, both when playing Dolphin and PC games. Use Real Temp or CoreTemp to get them. It could also be another component of your PC other than the CPU is having trouble. Make sure nothing's broken, or in the process of breaking down.
