Is there any way for me and my friends to play four swords over the internet?

That won't work for this game. it requires GBAs.

Ah, I forgot about that part. And GBA connectivity is spotty at best even on a single computer.....

I think the only way to do this would be to setup one computer to run everything and have the other computers use parsec to get a view of the game and all the GBAs.

Parsec is a nice piece of streaming software; I use it daily. I recommend anyone who has never tried it to give it a go.
