Oh that's interesting, is there a way to prevent the messages from showing? I think that would be the best a user could do. Here's screenshots of it happening without dualcore

Hey all, so it's 2022 now and the Wiimotes still just disconnect from the Force Unleashed Wii. Doesn't happen at all on other games, any ideas on what could be going wrong?

As a workaround I made 2 Xbox Controller profiles instead linked to the emulated Nunchuck & swing actions. I can do all moves apart from Maelstrom / Repulse as I can't get shaking both of them to work properly.

As soon as I try with the Wiimotes, you can get about a minute of fun before one of them disconnects..

Did you ever open a ticket on this? Is it only in duel mode?

I bought this game earlier this year and have yet to play it very much (only the first few minutes of the opening level).

Where would be the best place to open a ticket on it? It's a really great game and a whole different feel when you can use the wiimote for the saber & nunchuck for force powers, and from lots of gameplay it seems it happens just on occasion in single player, but a lot more often on duel mode.

Something about the Wiimote connection only for this game though, as it doesn't happen at all when using Xbox controllers (the "emulated wiimote approach"), but I've got 4 actual wiimotes and they all kept disconnecting just on this game.

If you do play it more (on Dolphin too I'm guessing), let me know your results
