So, even by running an i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz, I still have some slowdowns (as far as I saw, a good bunch in the Snake boss in the first world). Yes, I know that emulation wil never be "perfect", but I saw some people saying that the game plays perfect for them.

I'm using Dolphin's latest version, and only tested with it... for those who have it running fine, which build are you using? Any specific settings for LLE or GFX?

Using lle on thread can help. I have a 2500k @4.2 and performance is decent enough with lle on thread.

I get the best results with the latest build funnily enough - it helps with me if I check 'LLE on thread' (as LTTP says above me) otherwise get occasional audio glitches. I'm running at 1080p Vsync etc. on DX9 and get constant 60fps - for me it runs better than SMG1.
Specs:

i7 2600k o/c @ 4.5ghz
20GB Corsair Vengeance 1600hz RAM
6GB GTX 1060
Windows 10

Whoa. Works like a charm, and also helped Donkey Kong Returns.
Both games are perfect using the latest SVN and LLE audio. Awesome!

Thanks!
