Nerrel Wrote:It's way over the top, but I still like it. It gives a stronger sense of atmospheric perspective; with humid ocean air, objects in the distance should be hazier and less distinct than they are in the original. I live extremely close to the ocean in southeast florida. The most humid place in the most humid state in the united states of america. I can tell you this is definitely not the case. Distant objects on the ocean look like distant objects on land. Also when I walk outside the sky definitely does not turn into a molten ball of super bright white light. Nerrel Wrote:They could dial it down a bit, especially indoors... it almost looks like Link glows in the dark. It's not just link. Everything glows. It looks so weird and ugly. And the windows produce ridiculously bright light. I still think it looks better overall mainly because of the textures, shadows, and draw distance. But my god does that bloom look ugly. Up until now I thought Nintendo was practically the only company immune to this trend in video game graphics.

You really just have to drive your boat in there and take it, so I guess it would be a little unbalanced to get a shard so easily. 08-29-2013, 07:07 PM

If making traveling between areas less tedious is wrong then I don't want them to be right.

Almost 70% of the Windwaker's use is using it to change wind direction at sea, if you remove this, we might as well rename the game.
